Con/Crescent is now accepting essay and essay-like submissions for the Winter Issue, Con/Crescent 2.
Now that we think of it. This next issue we are looking for words that deal with music. We want a dialog going on about different approaches to the engulfing process of how music changes and intersplices the act of living and environments & such.
The work should be focused on the art of critical response, philosophical treatise, political discourse, and/or discursively formed spaces for theoretical work.
Essay submissions will be read year-round for consideration in either the fall or spring issue of the journal. Creative work is restricted to solicitation.

Next up, Con/Crescent 3 is already in pre-production stages and looking for submissions. The issue will focus directly on Philadelphia artists, poets, history, present, future and all the evidence one can dig up. Again, looking for a couple of pages, looking for some good old fashioned hard work labor not-so-intensive stuff.
There are currently no guidelines for subject matter (later issues may be themed). We are looking for fresh takes on the inspirations and concerns of the contemporary creative community. Email submissions or any questions you may have to
